Delete your account

Applies to the Our Daily Dignity app.

You can permanently delete your Our Daily Dignity account and all the data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open the Our Daily Dignity app and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation dialog.

Your account and data are erased straight away and you are signed out. If you would like a copy of your data first, use Settings → Export my data before deleting.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@brawndesign.com from the address linked to your account (or include the email / sign-in you used) and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Account & profile: your email / sign-in identifier, authentication record, display name, and consent records.
Journal entries you have written.
Prayer intentions you have saved.
Bookmarked days.
Your “I prayed” taps on curated communal intentions.

What data is kept

Anonymous aggregate counts: communal intentions show a total number of people who prayed. This running total is anonymous and contains no personal information, so it is not tied to you and is not removed when your account is deleted.
Diagnostics: crash and performance diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) are not linked to your identity and expire automatically under Firebase's retention policy (within 90 days).
Records we are legally required to keep: we retain data only where the law requires it (for example, to meet a legal or regulatory obligation), and only for as long as required.
